Erhard Bluhm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Helmut Kuschel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Roman Croy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erhard Bluhm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A very good chance for a goal. Erhard Bluhm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harry Ilius in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Helmut Kuschel in the 49th minute of play forced Olef's goalkeeper Erhard Bluhm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tim Dietzsch to make the kick off. Angelo Munz scored 3-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mats Gorges, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Olef's Erhard Bluhm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eberhard Strohfeldt in the 84th minute of play. Livio Nitsch hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Roman Croy kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Greven United fully deserved thier win.
