Spectators: 7980 (Terracing: 5986, Seating: 1835, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Akim Bleile started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Oskar Branke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fc Arndissimo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rübeer the free kick. A collision led to Fc Arndissimo getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Oskar Branke hit a great ball. Ed Nowak kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Gerrit Kranz made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Rando Backesdorf sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Fc Arndissimo's Albert Scheepers got a free kick in the 12th minute. Valérien Jahnke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eiko Burtscher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valérien Jahnke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joachim Malsch in the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Eiko Burtscher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valérien Jahnke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joachim Malsch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valérien Jahnke having to interfere. Fc Arndissimo's Joachim Malsch got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Jochen Schubert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eiko Burtscher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oskar Branke hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Theodor Fröhlich kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Eiko Burtscher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Valérien Jahnke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eiko Burtscher was the one to do the kick off. Rübeer's Valérien Jahnke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eiko Burtscher in the 52nd minute of play. Eiko Burtscher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute, Fc Arndissimo's Eiko Burtscher ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valérien Jahnke. Valérien Jahnke yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Valérien Jahnke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eiko Burtscher in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute Eiko Burtscher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valérien Jahnke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Ronald Baumgartner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fc Arndissimo's Eiko Burtscher got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Rübeer's zone, Joachim Malsch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valérien Jahnke came out of the goal and Joachim Malsch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute, Joachim Malsch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
