Spectators: 7538 (Terracing: 6038, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) Eberhard Strohfeldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Dimitrios Møller made a huge save. Raoul Loewenheim's late challenge caught a Greven United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raoul Loewenheim helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th minute, Raoul Loewenheim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dieter Jagow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 17 minutes of play, Schechen's Dieter Jagow made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mats Gorges was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gregor Kolber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Mats Gorges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 played minutes Greven United got a freekick which was hit by Roman Croy. Mats Gorges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregor Kolber in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to Schechen getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Drees Kästner hit a great ball. In the 28th minute Harry Ilius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitrios Møller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Helmut Kuschel took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Dimitrios Møller to make any attempt to save it. 38 minutes into the match, Schechen's goalkeeper Dimitrios Møller had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eberhard Strohfeldt. After a defensive mix-up in Schechen's zone, Eberhard Strohfeldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimitrios Møller came out of the goal and Eberhard Strohfeldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boubacar Thum to make the kick off. Boubacar Thum struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Mats Gorges didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schechen. Tim Dietzsch took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dimitrios Møller. Dimitrios Møller dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 63rd minute, Helmut Kuschel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eberhard Strohfeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Tim Dietzsch sped through Schechen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dimitrios Møller. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eggert Hertäg in the 72nd minute of play forced Schechen's goalkeeper Dimitrios Møller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Helmut Kuschel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dimitrios Møller was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Dimitrios Møller stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tim Dietzsch's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Eberhard Strohfeldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dimitrios Møller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tim Dietzsch in the 79th minute of the match. Dimitrios Møller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eberhard Strohfeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dimitrios Møller came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Greven United's Helmut Kuschel. But to his dismay, Helmut Kuschel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Greven United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
