Spectators: 8067 (Terracing: 6052, Seating: 1855, VIP seats: 160) Hoser's Torge Honsel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eberhard Anrute recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Rübeer getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Gerke Tiede hit a great ball. Ruprecht Vordenbäumen hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Jochen Schubert hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the game, Sebastian Rissmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rübeer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hoser the free kick. The supporters of Hoser booed when Rübeer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Rissmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torge Honsel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Valérien Jahnke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valérien Jahnke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eberhard Anrute in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eberhard Anrute in the 28th minute of play forced Rübeer's goalkeeper Valérien Jahnke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hubertus Habbel kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Rübeer's Valérien Jahnke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torge Honsel in the 31st minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Rübeer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruprecht Vordenbäumen to maneuver through the defense. When Gerke Tiede fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rübeer's protests and gave Gerke Tiede a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Rübeer's zone, Torge Honsel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valérien Jahnke came out of the goal and Torge Honsel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rübeer fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! In the 45th minute there was a penalty for Hoser. Karel Ziegelmüller stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Valérien Jahnke. 0-1.

A collision led to Rübeer getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ruprecht Vordenbäumen hit a great ball. After 63 minutes, Claus Görtz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hoser and the Rübeer players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Rübeer booed when Hoser was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claus Görtz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68th play minutes Eberhard Anrute shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Valérien Jahnke and just under the crossbar into goal. A collision led to Hoser getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Jürgen Lauterwasser hit a great ball. When Torge Honsel came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Hoser fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torge Honsel couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Rübeer's Ruprecht Vordenbäumen got a free kick in the 75th minute. Torge Honsel struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Valérien Jahnke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hoser. Eberhard Anrute scored 0-4 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valérien Jahnke, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Eberhard Anrute had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruprecht Vordenbäumen during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Hoser booed when Rübeer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruprecht Vordenbäumen didn't get a good kick on the ball.
