In the 4th minute, Wim Roye got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Rudolf Sebastiany managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Baumminator's Wim Roye fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Wim Royes short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Rudolf Sebastiany to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Robert Brandau hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Wilhelm Bauer hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Baumminator's Rudolf Sebastiany threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wim Roye, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jim Vordenbäumen charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jim Vordenbäumen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 40 played minutes Oeverich got a freekick which was hit by Jim Vordenbäumen. Wim Roye could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Rudolf Sebastiany made a huge save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niclas Schnuphase made a kick off. Wolf Steckamp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rudolf Sebastiany took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Roye, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Baumminator booed when Oeverich was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armin Dehn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wim Roye took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rudolf Sebastiany. Rudolf Sebastiany dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Wim Roye sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Roye in the 67th minute of play forced Oeverich's goalkeeper Rudolf Sebastiany to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 minutes Oeverich's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Philipp Wieland who took care of the corner kick. The audience was convinced that Wim Roye's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rudolf Sebastiany was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Wim Roye struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Rudolf Sebastiany didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baumminator. Wim Roye received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Rudolf Sebastiany tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wim Roye scored 2-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rudolf Sebastiany, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rudolf Sebastiany made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Finman in the 83rd minute of play. Oeverich's Rudolf Sebastiany played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilbert Finman in the 85th minute of play. Wim Roye sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wolf Steckamp's late challenge caught a Oeverich's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wolf Steckamp helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Baumminator's Wolf Steckamp got a free kick in the 90th minute. Rudolf Sebastiany didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wim Roye went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Baumminator had played much better football throughout.
