Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rufus Mendelsohn made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Fc Arndissimo's Oskar Branke got a free kick in the 4th minute. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Rufus Mendelsohn put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gerrit Kranz. Ignaz Göhring recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fc Arndissimo's Gerrit Kranz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoph Wolters in the 11th minute of play. With a little luck, Alflen FSV's Karim Scheuerlein got control of the ball when Joachim Malsch tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Christoph Wolters managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alflen FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Christoph Wolters was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerrit Kranz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Arndissimo's zone, Rufus Mendelsohn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerrit Kranz came out of the goal and Rufus Mendelsohn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Christoph Wolters sped through Fc Arndissimo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gerrit Kranz. After 22 minutes of play, Fc Arndissimo's Joachim Malsch made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karim Scheuerlein was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 25th minute Eiko Burtscher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karim Scheuerlein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karim Scheuerlein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Scheepers, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Joachim Malsch took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karim Scheuerlein. Karim Scheuerlein dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Karim Scheuerlein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Scheepers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Fc Arndissimo's goal looked a bit too open when Rufus Mendelsohn came free, but Gerrit Kranz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 40 minutes, Christoph Wolters managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alflen FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christoph Wolters was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st match minute, Alflen FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Micha-Alexander Matheis to maneuver through the defense. Gerhart Hegekötter might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karim Scheuerlein. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerhart Hegekötter ran back to his position shaking his head. When Eiko Burtscher fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc Arndissimo's protests and gave Eiko Burtscher a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Fc Arndissimo getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Eiko Burtscher hit a great ball. Christoph Wolters struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Gerrit Kranz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alflen FSV. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Eiko Burtscher made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Eiko Burtscher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karim Scheuerlein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alflen FSV's Karim Scheuerlein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Malsch in the 54th minute of play. If Ignaz Göhring had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christoph Wolters's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Gerrit Kranz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignaz Göhring in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerrit Kranz saved Fc Arndissimo from getting behind. Gerrit Kranz made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Christoph Wolters sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rufus Mendelsohn in the 65th minute of play forced Fc Arndissimo's goalkeeper Gerrit Kranz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Christoph Wolters reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gerrit Kranz. The goal made the score 2-3. Gerrit Kranz made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Christoph Wolters sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the match, Alflen FSV's Ignaz Göhring sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gerrit Kranz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gerrit Kranz was a little too slow when Christoph Wolters got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 2-4. Karim Scheuerlein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oskar Branke, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Christoph Wolters struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Gerrit Kranz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alflen FSV. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rufus Mendelsohn in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerrit Kranz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88th match minute, Fc Arndissimo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eiko Burtscher to maneuver through the defense. Gerrit Kranz came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Alflen FSV's Christoph Wolters. But to his dismay, Christoph Wolters quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. When the match was over Alflen FSV could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fc Arndissimo throughout the match.
