Weser-Kicker's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Munz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dimitrios Møller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Munz in the 65th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Weser-Kicker's Ingmar Amstutz got a free kick in the 88th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Schechen eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
