Spectators: 7507 (Terracing: 6007, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) Greven United's Tim Dietzsch started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mats Gorges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Roye in the 4th minute of play. Asrin Barenz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Dietzsch, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Wim Roye received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Mats Gorges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Baumminator's zone, Tim Dietzsch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Asrin Barenz came out of the goal and Tim Dietzsch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cosimo Serantoni kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Wim Roye cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mats Gorges was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Wim Roye managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baumminator's supporters rose to their feet, but Wim Roye was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mats Gorges breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mats Gorges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Roye, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eberhard Strohfeldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Asrin Barenz made a huge save. Henning Krall made in the 39th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Baumminator's Philipp Wieland. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Roye in the 44th minute of play forced Greven United's goalkeeper Mats Gorges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Greven United's Tim Dietzsch in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Baumminator's goalie prevented a goal. The Greven United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Baumminator were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wim Roye was the one to do the kick off. Damir Peschke kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 64 minutes in the game Philipp Wieland got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Asrin Barenz came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Greven United's Tim Dietzsch. But to his dismay, Tim Dietzsch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A collision led to Baumminator getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Philipp Wieland hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tim Dietzsch in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Asrin Barenz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Tim Dietzsch sped through Baumminator's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Asrin Barenz. 85 minutes into the match, Baumminator's goal looked a bit too open when Eberhard Strohfeldt came free, but Asrin Barenz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 90 minutes, Eberhard Strohfeldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Greven United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eberhard Strohfeldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Helmut Kuschel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eberhard Strohfeldt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Asrin Barenz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Asrin Barenz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helmut Kuschel in the 97th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Greven United had played much better football throughout.
