Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yannik Heimann started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yannik Heimann in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eberhard Baur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dieter Luft hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Yannik Heimann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matthias Brux's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eberhard Baur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of VfL Tegel booed when Fallingbostel FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthias Brux didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugen Spanehl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Yannik Heimann notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of VfL Tegel's Eberhard Baur. Eberhard Baur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dieter Luft kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Eugen Spanehl fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Otto Klemme came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the VfL Tegel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otto Klemme couldn't finish the play. Gary Gryphius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Otto Klemme in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute Yannik Heimann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eberhard Baur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Fallingbostel FC's Matthias Brux sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eberhard Baur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Eugen Spanehl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Yannik Heimann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eberhard Baur. VfL Tegel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yannik Heimann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Nuri Klingenbeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Eugen Spanehl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gary Gryphius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gary Gryphius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Otto Klemme in the 45th minute. VfL Tegel's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frank Groll in the 47th minute. Frank Groll made a great header on VfL Tegel's corner, it was just that Fallingbostel FC's Gary Gryphius managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eugen Spanehl was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Olaf Baitinger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 56 minutes into the game, Matthias Brux cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Eberhard Baur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nuri Klingenbeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yannik Heimann received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eberhard Baur came out and tried to block the shot, but Yannik Heimann slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 62nd minute. Eberhard Baur made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Matthias Brux sent off a good shot on target. Yannik Heimann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Eberhard Baur made a huge save. After 73 played minutes VfL Tegel got a freekick which was hit by Carl Meier. In the 74th of the match, Yannik Heimann tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Eberhard Baur got in the way and made a wonderful save. Yannik Heimanns short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Eberhard Baur to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. VfL Tegel's Otto Klemme got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 87 played minutes, VfL Tegel's Niels Braun shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gary Gryphius came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in VfL Tegel reached it. A collision led to VfL Tegel getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Erich Pronold hit a great ball. The long shot by Yannik Heimann in the 95th minute really tested Eberhard Baur's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fallingbostel FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
