After a defensive mix-up in Priestersberg's zone, Castulo Puig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Georgi Borchert came out of the goal and Castulo Puig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute, Rainer Nießen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Georgi Borchert was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Rainer Nießen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Georgi Borchert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Besitz's Hark Holthuis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Besitz from getting a goal against them. Besitz's Näsib Baxşaliyev pulled a muscle in his leg after 18 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Augustin Blau's late challenge caught a Besitz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augustin Blau helped the player get up and apologised. After 20 played minutes Priestersberg got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Blau. Georgi Borchert didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Besitz's Rainer Nießen shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 28th match minute, Priestersberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augustin Blau to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patrick-Marc Eckert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Georgi Borchert managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Besitz's Rainer Nießen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ingo Siebert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Hark Holthuis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Rainer Nießen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Georgi Borchert. Priestersberg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rainer Nießen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. After a rather tough play, Besitz's Burak Czerwiec got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Priestersberg lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
