Patrick-Marc Eckert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Christian Quinkert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute Patrick-Marc Eckert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Quinkert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Patrick-Marc Eckert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Quinkert was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 31stth minute of the game Boubacar Häusling who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wacholderbaum's Georgi Borchert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 36thth minute of the game Ingo Siebert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eischeid's Christian Quinkert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 48 played minutes Eischeid got a freekick which was hit by Boubacar Häusling. Ingo Siebert took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Quinkert. Christian Quinkert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to Wacholderbaum getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Gerhard Pechstein hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Wacholderbaum's Gerhard Pechstein got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Georgi Borchert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boubacar Häusling's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Boubacar Häusling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Georgi Borchert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Esche, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Ingo Siebert succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 75th playminute. Christian Quinkert made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Ingo Siebert sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute Lukas Pieth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georgi Borchert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boubacar Häusling in the 94th minute of play forced Wacholderbaum's goalkeeper Georgi Borchert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Quinkert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrick-Marc Eckert's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Patrick-Marc Eckert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wacholderbaum's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrick-Marc Eckert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Quinkert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded Wacholderbaum left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Eischeid.
