An unexpectedly hard shot by Jürgen Kuhlmann in the 54th minute of play forced Lechia 1945 FFM's goalkeeper Jürgen Bonesky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jürgen Bonesky showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niclas Bokan, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Lechia 1945 FFM's supporters rose to their feet, but Viktor Stehmer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Werner Nitzsche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gideon Leuschner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oberglinde's Werner Nitzsche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Oberglinde from getting a goal against them. Werner Nitzsche made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Viktor Stehmer sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute, Gideon Leuschner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gideon Leuschner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Werner Nitzsche having to interfere. Werner Nitzsche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gideon Leuschner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Werner Nitzsche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gideon Leuschner in the 88th minute of the match. In the 88th match minute, Oberglinde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorn Jägel to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Lechia 1945 FFM could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Oberglinde throughout the match.
