FC Eisleben's Niels Wege played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolf Ammermann in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Niederkell's goal looked a bit too open when Wilken Winterstein came free, but Curt Zutt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee gave FC Eisleben a penalty, 9 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mark Walti, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Niederkell's Curt Zutt. 0-1. Niels Wege showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolf Ammermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Curt Zutt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Rothschild in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Günter Hirschberg in the 19th minute of play forced FC Eisleben's goalkeeper Niels Wege to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Niederkell's Niels Wege threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adolf Ammermann, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tobias Rothschild fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Curt Zutt having to interfere. Curt Zutt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilken Winterstein's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, FC Eisleben's goalkeeper Niels Wege had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Geissler. In the 29th minute, Wilken Winterstein left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Eisleben fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 32 played minutes Niederkell got a freekick which was hit by Adolf Ammermann. Curt Zutt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilken Winterstein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 minutes of play, FC Eisleben's Wilken Winterstein made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Curt Zutt was left in no man's land by his defense there! 41 minutes into the match, Niederkell's goal looked a bit too open when Wilken Winterstein came free, but Curt Zutt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Curt Zutt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Rothschild in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute Wilken Winterstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Curt Zutt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobias Rothschild took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Curt Zutt. Curt Zutt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After the first half FC Eisleben were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thomas Geissler made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Wilken Winterstein managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Eisleben's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilken Winterstein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Curt Zutt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Curt Zutt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Rothschild, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niels Wege made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Geissler in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Niederkell's goalkeeper Curt Zutt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lars Schiele. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Rothschild in the 63rd minute of play forced Niederkell's goalkeeper Curt Zutt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Niederkell's goalkeeper Curt Zutt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilken Winterstein. In the 68th minute, Adolf Ammermann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Curt Zutt was a little too slow when Wilken Winterstein got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-5. Curt Zutt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Rothschild in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th match minute, Niederkell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolf Ammermann to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the match, Niederkell's goalkeeper Curt Zutt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilken Winterstein. Curt Zutt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilken Winterstein in the 77th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Eisleben's Peer Brütt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Curt Zutt. That made the score 0-6 after 79 minutes of play. Mark Walti got in the 83rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Curt Zutt handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Niels Wege showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Günter Hirschberg in the 84th minute of the match. Tobias Rothschild sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tobias Rothschild fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Curt Zutt having to interfere. FC Eisleben's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
