Spectators: 7861 (Terracing: 6016, Seating: 1844, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hellmut Karrenbauer kicked off to start the match. The VFB Stuttgart fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when VFB Stuttgart's Hellmut Karrenbauer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mark Walti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Tobias Guenther tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Tobias Rothschild kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tobias Guenther. That made the score 1-1 in the 17 minute of play. After having played for 21 minutes, Tobias Rothschild managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Eisleben's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobias Rothschild was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25thth minute of the game Wilken Winterstein who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VFB Stuttgart's Tobias Guenther was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Tobias Rothschild kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tobias Guenther. That made the score 2-1 in the 27 minute of play. With an all-out effort, FC Eisleben's Tobias Guenther threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tobias Rothschild, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 36th minute, Tobias Rothschild fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tobias Guenther, passed just outside the right post. In the 38th minute, Reto Moratschke made a precise shot to the right of Niels Wege. FC Eisleben's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 41st minute, Wilken Winterstein reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tobias Guenther. The goal made the score 3-2. Tobias Guenther made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoph Ganz in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilken Winterstein made a kick off. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by VFB Stuttgart's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mark Walti was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Eisleben's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Mark Walti almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but VFB Stuttgart's Tobias Guenther did a great save. In the 56th minute Lars Schiele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Guenther saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in VFB Stuttgart's zone, Tobias Rothschild stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Guenther came out of the goal and Tobias Rothschild tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilken Winterstein in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobias Guenther prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in VFB Stuttgart's zone, Mark Walti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Guenther came out of the goal and Mark Walti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Christoph Ganz managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Eisleben's supporters rose to their feet, but Christoph Ganz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Guenther breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 78 minutes into the match, VFB Stuttgart's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Rothschild came free, but Tobias Guenther reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, VFB Stuttgart's goal looked a bit too open when Wilken Winterstein came free, but Tobias Guenther reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for FC Eisleben. Mark Walti stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tobias Guenther. 5-2. Tobias Guenther showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Walti in the 98th minute of the match. There was no doubt that FC Eisleben were the better team. FC Eisleben's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
