In the 11thth minute of the game Ciro Alves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jeerhof FSV's Reiner Jaksch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Alves in the 12th minute of play forced Jeerhof FSV's goalkeeper Reiner Jaksch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ciro Alves came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Lohne FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Alves couldn't finish the play. Zeno Krieger's late challenge caught a Lohne FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeno Krieger helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Jeerhof FSV booed when Lohne FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lohne FSV's Isaak Jacob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by James Schmieta in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Lohne FSV's goalkeeper Isaak Jacob had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by James Schmieta. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciro Alves in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reiner Jaksch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Lohne FSV's zone, Stephane Lösekrug stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaak Jacob came out of the goal and Stephane Lösekrug tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute, Ciro Alves made a precise shot to the right of Reiner Jaksch. Jeerhof FSV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to Jeerhof FSV getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. James Schmieta hit a great ball. Jeerhof FSV's Reiner Jaksch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Alves in the 46th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Heiko Sill made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Leven Romstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Theodor Dohrn kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Reiner Jaksch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lohne FSV. In the 61st minute, Raoul Erler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jeerhof FSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 65th minute Raoul Erler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaak Jacob saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Reiner Jaksch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Lohne FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Raoul Erler came free, but Isaak Jacob reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leven Romstedt hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After 76 played minutes Jeerhof FSV got a freekick which was hit by James Schmieta. Isaak Jacob showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stephane Lösekrug, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. With 93 minutes on the clock, Theodor Dohrn commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Despite being the better team, Jeerhof FSV failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
