But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heini Nikolic couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute, Samon Pleve got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Schalker's Edson Kläsener got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heini Nikolic in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kai Hoyer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benni Zugowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kai Hoyer having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Heini Nikolic managed to get in a good position for a shot. TIINDDRCCATS's supporters rose to their feet, but Heini Nikolic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kai Hoyer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Heini Nikolic sped through Schalker's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kai Hoyer. The audience was convinced that Heini Nikolic's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kai Hoyer was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. After 74 played minutes, TIINDDRCCATS's Herwig Felchle shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kai Hoyer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in TIINDDRCCATS reached it. In the 76th match minute, TIINDDRCCATS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dankward Redder to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Schalker's goal looked a bit too open when Benni Zugowski came free, but Kai Hoyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The TIINDDRCCATS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Edson Kläsener had several of the TIINDDRCCATS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 89 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-1 score and a disappointed Erhard Lehn as he didn't even see the shot coming. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heini Nikolic in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kai Hoyer prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
