Spectators: 7910 (Terracing: 5977, Seating: 1833, VIP seats: 100) SSV Bremen's Cicero Guenther started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the SSV Bremen defense, Pedro Kotthaus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Johan Plappert. The SSV Bremen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Johan Plappert should have stopped the shot. Johan Plappert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Hertäg in the 12th minute of play. Johan Plappert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Linde in the 15th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Christian Linde put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Johan Plappert. Bertram Eigen hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. If Cicero Guenther had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johan Plappert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Kotthaus in the 28th minute of the match. With 30 minutes on the clock, Patrik Rausch commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Patrik Rausch hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Kotthaus in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johan Plappert saved SSV Bremen from getting behind. SSV Bremen's Johan Plappert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dirk Schwarz in the 36th minute of play. Christian Linde scored 0-3 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johan Plappert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Johan Plappert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Friedl Grytz in the 47th minute of the match. The SSV Bremen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zwirkenberg were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Kotthaus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Adrian Hertäg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Johan Plappert. That made the score 0-4 in the 53 minute of play. Johan Plappert was a little too slow when Adrian Hertäg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 0-5. In the 61st minute Adrian Hertäg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Plappert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johan Plappert came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Zwirkenberg's Christian Linde. But to his dismay, Christian Linde quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 68th minute, Pedro Kotthaus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Johan Plappert. The goal made the score 0-7. Johan Plappert came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Zwirkenberg's Christian Linde. But to his dismay, Christian Linde quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. 74 minutes into the match, SSV Bremen's goalkeeper Johan Plappert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Linde. A collision led to SSV Bremen getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Gismund Stollenwerk hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the game, Christian Linde recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Johan Plappert. Christian Linde showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. Johan Plappert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Hertäg in the 83rd minute of the match. Pedro Kotthaus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Johan Plappert having to make a save. Friedl Grytz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Plappert having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Gismund Stollenwerk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SSV Bremen's Johan Plappert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Kotthaus in the 89th minute of play. After some careless play in the SSV Bremen defense, Friedl Grytz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Johan Plappert. The SSV Bremen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Johan Plappert should have stopped the shot. 95 minutes into the match, SSV Bremen's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Kotthaus came free, but Johan Plappert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zwirkenberg's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
