In the 30th minute, Dietrich Klein got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Vollme FC's Freddi Kremm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lorenz Faber made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Fabien Deters took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lorenz Faber. Lorenz Faber dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Heiko Schreiner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vollme FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Heiko Schreiner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorenz Faber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabien Deters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lorenz Faber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heiko Schreiner in the 46th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Vollme FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rainer Gottschling came free, but Torger Gödicke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Heiko Schreiner made the kick off in the second half. Fabien Deters who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Lorenz Faber when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heiko Schreiner in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lorenz Faber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabien Deters took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lorenz Faber. Lorenz Faber dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rainer Gottschling in the 59th minute of play forced Vollme FC's goalkeeper Torger Gödicke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Heiko Schreiner received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lorenz Faber came out and tried to block the shot, but Heiko Schreiner slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 61st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Nils Zypries managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vollme FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nils Zypries was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorenz Faber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dietrich Klein kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Fabien Deters might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lorenz Faber. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabien Deters ran back to his position shaking his head. Fabien Deters in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lorenz Faber, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
