After 7 played minutes Hansa Manni got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Hasse. Eike Hain took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sascha Schwind. Hansa Manni's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, FC Lewix's goal looked a bit too open when Philipp Arnim came free, but Stefan Nülle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Rochus Dey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Rochus Dey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stefan Nülle was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. The supporters of FC Lewix booed when Hansa Manni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Hasse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stefan Nülle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shawn Kissel in the 43rd minute of the match. Stefan Nülle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philipp Arnim, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Shawn Kissel made a kick off. The supporters of Hansa Manni booed when FC Lewix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graciano Arendt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the match, FC Lewix's goalkeeper Stefan Nülle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vadim Hartwig. When the match had been going on for 61 minutes, Hansa Manni's Johannes Hasse got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Stefan Nülle. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Lewix fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 71 minutes, Hansa Manni's Johannes Hasse got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Stefan Nülle. Sascha Schwind showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eike Hain in the 74th minute of the match. After 84 played minutes Hansa Manni got a freekick which was hit by Vadim Hartwig. After a defensive mix-up in Hansa Manni's zone, Shawn Hambrecht stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sascha Schwind came out of the goal and Shawn Hambrecht tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 89 minutes of play, Hansa Manni's Philipp Arnim made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stefan Nülle was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 94 minutes, Eike Hain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Lewix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eike Hain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adam Feil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Sascha Schwind tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Lewix succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Hansa Manni had controlled the match.
