In the 42nd minute, SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Wolf Erkiner fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 45th minute, Günther Thierse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonas Wrede struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Helko Meisl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heider FC. SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Heider FC had controlled the match.
