Albert Bernhard's late challenge caught a FC Midgard's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albert Bernhard helped the player get up and apologised. Albert Bernhard kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. FC Midgard's Horst Birnstiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eskil Brenner in the 7th minute of play. In the 16th minute, FC Midgard's Eugen Schwarze ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Percy Gürtler. Percy Gürtler yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Eugen Schwarze struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Percy Gürtler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Midgard. Horst Birnstiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fritz Bloch in the 21st minute of the match. FC Midgard's Todor Vaskov got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute Fritz Bloch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horst Birnstiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jurek Schumacher hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 28 played minutes Muddaphukkerz got a freekick which was hit by Roland Leimann. If Todor Vaskov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Stelze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horst Birnstiel having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, FC Midgard's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Bernhard came free, but Horst Birnstiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Muddaphukkerz's goalkeeper Percy Gürtler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugen Schwarze. Percy Gürtler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Todor Vaskov in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to Muddaphukkerz getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Roland Leimann hit a great ball. Eugen Schwarze could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Percy Gürtler made a huge save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugen Schwarze made a kick off. Marco Stelze could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Horst Birnstiel made a huge save. FC Midgard's Horst Birnstiel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save FC Midgard from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Muddaphukkerz getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Albert Bernhard hit a great ball. In the 57th minute Todor Vaskov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percy Gürtler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 played minutes Muddaphukkerz got a freekick which was hit by Fritz Bloch. If Eugen Schwarze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 65 minutes, Todor Vaskov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Midgard's supporters crossed their fingers, but Todor Vaskov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69thth minute of the game Todor Vaskov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Muddaphukkerz's Percy Gürtler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Percy Gürtler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Todor Vaskov, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Muddaphukkerz's zone, Todor Vaskov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Percy Gürtler came out of the goal and Todor Vaskov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the FC Midgard defense, Eskil Brenner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horst Birnstiel. The FC Midgard fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horst Birnstiel should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dennis Weisheit during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 80 played minutes Muddaphukkerz got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Weisheit. Percy Gürtler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eugen Schwarze went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Todor Vaskov managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Midgard's supporters rose to their feet, but Todor Vaskov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Percy Gürtler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albert Bernhard got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 86th minute, Albert Bernhard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claus Holsing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percy Gürtler having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Muddaphukkerz's Tobias Lammert got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 96th match minute, Muddaphukkerz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Leimann to maneuver through the defense. FC Midgard were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
