Danko Keil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Luneplate's goal looked a bit too open when Walther Reckmaier came free, but Danko Keil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gerrit Graf fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RB Gladbach 93's protests and gave Gerrit Graf a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute of the match Kilian Schwantes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wolfram Ostendorff skillfully saved the ball. Wolfram Ostendorff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toni Barta, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Luneplate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RB Gladbach 93 the free kick. Toni Barta hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The supporters of Luneplate booed when RB Gladbach 93 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Nierlein didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danko Keil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zaman Schwarz went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to Luneplate getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Toni Barta hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zaman Schwarz in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Danko Keil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that RB Gladbach 93 were the better team. RB Gladbach 93's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
