Spectators: 8015 (Terracing: 6013, Seating: 1843, VIP seats: 159) Honorio Loramendi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Fynn Baumgärtner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Ayman Klopp made a huge save. With a little luck, OFK Bratstvo's Ayman Klopp got control of the ball when Honorio Loramendi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Flachsberg's Honorio Loramendi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ayman Klopp. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Honorio Loramendi in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ayman Klopp saved OFK Bratstvo from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stefan Diggs got free with Ayman Klopp in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ayman Klopp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Björn Wegener in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Fred Krotz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vittorio Grützmacher was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 28 minutes into the game, Peer Oldenburg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OFK Bratstvo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flachsberg the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of OFK Bratstvo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Flachsberg:s goal. Stefan Diggs walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The referee felt a red card was in order, 32 minutes into the game, when Jork Bechtle put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, OFK Bratstvo's Jork Bechtle got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Stefan Diggs was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 33rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Nierlich had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ayman Klopp. OFK Bratstvo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodrigo Nierlich was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Fritz-Wilhelm Bokor's late challenge caught a Flachsberg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fritz-Wilhelm Bokor helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, OFK Bratstvo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fritz-Wilhelm Bokor to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute Honorio Loramendi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ayman Klopp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fynn Baumgärtner fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flachsberg's protests and gave Fynn Baumgärtner a yellow card for diving instead.
