Uffe Nölting who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Wolfram Ostendorff when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 25th minute, Battista Radunski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Georg Webel made in the 32nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Battista Radunski immediately put the ball in play. In the 36th minute, Zaman Schwarz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ayman Klopp was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Uffe Nölting fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wolfram Ostendorff having to interfere. After 45 played minutes OFK Bratstvo got a freekick which was hit by Albert Fazio. The OFK Bratstvo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. RB Gladbach 93 were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Walther Reckmaier made a kick off. A collision led to OFK Bratstvo getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. RB Gladbach 93 played a much better game than OFK Bratstvo and deserved their victory. The OFK Bratstvo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
