Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Uffe Nölting made the kick off and thus started the match. After 2 played minutes OFK Bratstvo got a freekick which was hit by Peer Oldenburg. When Todor Vaskov came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the FC Midgard fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Todor Vaskov couldn't finish the play. After having played for 8 minutes, Eugen Schwarze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Midgard's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugen Schwarze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 9 minutes, Fred Krotz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OFK Bratstvo and the FC Midgard players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Midgard booed when OFK Bratstvo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Krotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind OFK Bratstvo's goalkeeper Ayman Klopp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. OFK Bratstvo's Uffe Nölting was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 17th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 22nd minute Todor Vaskov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ayman Klopp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugen Schwarze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ayman Klopp having to interfere. Eugen Schwarze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uffe Nölting hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. When Todor Vaskov came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the FC Midgard fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Todor Vaskov couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute, Eugen Schwarze left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Midgard fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Harald Potulski shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugen Schwarze made a kick off. The supporters of FC Midgard booed when OFK Bratstvo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jork Bechtle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Todor Vaskov was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 55th minute. FC Midgard's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 56th minute, Jork Bechtle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ayman Klopp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugen Schwarze in the 59th minute. 62 minutes into the game, FC Midgard's Harald Potulski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ayman Klopp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Eugen Schwarze could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Ayman Klopp made a huge save. Todor Vaskov might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ayman Klopp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Todor Vaskov ran back to his position shaking his head. Ayman Klopp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Todor Vaskov in the 77th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 81 minutes into the game, when Gerrit Dörfler put in a rough tackle. In the 83rd minute there was a penalty for FC Midgard. Harald Potulski stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ayman Klopp. 1-4. OFK Bratstvo's Ayman Klopp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save OFK Bratstvo from getting a goal against them. Eugen Schwarze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ayman Klopp having to interfere. Ayman Klopp made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Eugen Schwarze sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded FC Midgard left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than OFK Bratstvo.
