A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walther Reckmaier in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Percy Gürtler saved Muddaphukkerz from getting behind. RB Gladbach 93's Wolfram Ostendorff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Stelze in the 16th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, RB Gladbach 93 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zaman Schwarz to maneuver through the defense. Wolfram Ostendorff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fritz Bloch, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fritz Bloch was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eskil Brenner in the 66th minute of play forced RB Gladbach 93's goalkeeper Wolfram Ostendorff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Percy Gürtler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walther Reckmaier, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute, Kristian Gebhard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Muddaphukkerz would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
