Vittorio Grützmacher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Björn Kahn kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Honorio Loramendi in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Helko Meisl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute Björn Wegener shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helko Meisl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken's Helko Meisl got control of the ball when Honorio Loramendi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Honorio Loramendi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Helko Meisl having to make a save. Stefan Diggs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Helko Meisl made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Honorio Loramendi sent off a good shot on target. Stefan Diggs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helko Meisl having to interfere. When Honorio Loramendi, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 30 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Helko Meisl was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Fynn Baumgärtner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorio Loramendi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Helko Meisl skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With an all-out effort, Flachsberg's Helko Meisl threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Honorio Loramendi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 41st play minute Honorio Loramendi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Helko Meisl. 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Clint Dujic kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Honorio Loramendi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helko Meisl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken defense, Honorio Loramendi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Helko Meisl. The SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Helko Meisl should have stopped the shot. Helko Meisl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Björn Wegener, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! When Flachsberg's Honorio Loramendi in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Helko Meisl showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Flachsberg getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Fynn Baumgärtner hit a great ball. Stefan Diggs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 played minutes SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken got a freekick which was hit by Marc Engelsmann. After having played for 94 minutes, Hermann Nierlein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermann Nierlein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 97 minutes into the match, SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Loramendi came free, but Helko Meisl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pascal Terpe charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pascal Terpe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Pascal Terpe hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Flachsberg had played much better football throughout.
