Monty Michalk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danko Keil having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Winfried Kitzberger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Luneplate getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Toni Barta hit a great ball. Danko Keil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lew Schäfer in the 31st minute. Wenzel Lukner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Pinder in the 32nd minute of play. Lew Schäfer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Danko Keil when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Wenzel Lukner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Bernau, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute, Simon Pinder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Luneplate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 39th minute Monty Michalk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danko Keil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute of the match, Winfried Kitzberger tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Danko Keil saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Wenzel Lukner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Richard Bernau went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. When Monty Michalk came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Rehfelde FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Monty Michalk couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Emanuel Schramm made the kick off in the second half. Winfried Kitzberger kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Luneplate's goal looked a bit too open when Winfried Kitzberger came free, but Danko Keil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luneplate's Kurt Pater suffered a sore foot after 62 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 62 minutes into the game, Jochen van Stiphout was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rehfelde FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luneplate the free kick. Philipp Bohmann kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Simon Pinder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Richard Bernau's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wenzel Lukner firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Richard Bernau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Luneplate supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Luneplate would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
