Zaman Schwarz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Helko Meisl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Helko Meisl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaman Schwarz in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 39th minute Zaman Schwarz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helko Meisl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken's goal looked a bit too open when Walther Reckmaier came free, but Helko Meisl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Walther Reckmaier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A throw-in in the 54th minute of the game was made by Pascal Terpe with Gerd Löhnert as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. But to his dismay, Zaman Schwarz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Mats Harms kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Helko Meisl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walther Reckmaier, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Zaman Schwarz in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Helko Meisl, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 83rd minute, Mats Harms hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken defense, Zaman Schwarz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Helko Meisl. The SV Neustadt-Pelzerhaken fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Helko Meisl should have stopped the shot. A throw-in in the 91st minute of the game was made by Mats Harms with Kristian Gebhard as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. RB Gladbach 93 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
