Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 120) FC 08 Brühl's Karl Marx started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Romed Scheider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Patrick Granitza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Padro Cambero scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrick Granitza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Patrick Granitza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berthold Brecht, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Patrick Granitza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Marx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BAYER's Patrick Granitza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berthold Brecht in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-8.

After some careless play in the BAYER defense, Berthold Brecht kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrick Granitza. The BAYER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrick Granitza should have stopped the shot. 91 minutes into the game, Padro Cambero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Patrick Granitza. Padro Cambero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-15.
