A collision led to FFK Kosova getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Geovanildo Ponta hit a great ball. Tobias Henke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salomon Kaloudis having to interfere. When Lew Rampp came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the FFK Kosova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lew Rampp couldn't finish the play. Patrick Granitza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Mersmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to BAYER getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Karl Martin Spranger hit a great ball. Patrick Granitza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Mersmann in the 19th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in BAYER's zone, Andy Mersmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrick Granitza came out of the goal and Andy Mersmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27thth minute of the game Andy Mersmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BAYER's Patrick Granitza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute, Lew Rampp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrick Granitza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Mersmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andy Mersmann scored 0-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrick Granitza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Patrick Granitza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Mersmann in the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Lew Rampp made a precise shot to the right of Patrick Granitza. BAYER's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andy Mersmann in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrick Granitza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Andy Mersmann came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the FFK Kosova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andy Mersmann couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andy Mersmann made a kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Karl Martin Spranger in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FFK Kosova's Geovanildo Ponta. After a rather tough play, BAYER's Tobias Henke got a free kick in the 56th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geovanildo Ponta got free with Patrick Granitza in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game was made by Karsten Blieske with Manfred Polster as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a rather tough play, BAYER's Karl Martin Spranger got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Geovanildo Ponta hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute of the match Manfred Polster shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Salomon Kaloudis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Andy Mersmann recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Patrick Granitza. Andy Mersmann showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Lew Rampp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl Martin Spranger kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. BAYER's Patrick Granitza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andy Mersmann in the 85th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as FFK Kosova's Andy Mersmann slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Patrick Granitza. That made the score 0-5 after 91 minutes of play. The BAYER fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FFK Kosova were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
