Georges Söbbe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Georges Söbbe came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Bantorf's Dirk Schmidtmann. But to his dismay, Dirk Schmidtmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Georges Söbbe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dirk Schmidtmann in the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Dirk Schmidtmann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bantorf fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After 21 minutes of play, Bantorf's Yan Qian Fei made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Georges Söbbe was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 24th minute, Volker Farber made a precise shot to the right of Georges Söbbe. HSVHamburg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yan Qian Fei in the 26th minute of play forced HSVHamburg's goalkeeper Georges Söbbe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the HSVHamburg defense, Yan Qian Fei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Georges Söbbe. The HSVHamburg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Georges Söbbe should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Bantorf getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Achim Meiners hit a great ball. Bantorf's Batur Hakyemez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Bantorf from getting a goal against them. After taking down the ball on HSVHamburg's corner Sixten Graf fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Batur Hakyemez quite easily take care of the ball. Batur Hakyemez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kornelius Hens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Bier during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 48th minute Dirk Schmidtmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georges Söbbe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dirk Schmidtmann was the one to do the kick off. Georges Söbbe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yan Qian Fei in the 51st minute. Bonifatius Stoletzky hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After 54th play minutes Dirk Schmidtmann shot 0-9, a short shot which went by Georges Söbbe and just under the crossbar into goal. Sixten Graf's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Batur Hakyemez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Georges Söbbe was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Dirk Schmidtmann capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dirk Schmidtmann really showed his touch with that goal: 0-14. After some careless play in the HSVHamburg defense, Volker Farber kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Georges Söbbe. The HSVHamburg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Georges Söbbe should have stopped the shot. Georges Söbbe came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bantorf's Volker Farber. But to his dismay, Volker Farber quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-16. Bantorf's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
