Patrick Granitza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Patrick Granitza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wincent Rutecki, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Wincent Rutecki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patrick Granitza. BAYER's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wincent Rutecki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 28th match minute, BAYER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Martin Spranger to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 30 minutes, Melquiades Prejun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BALiC 35's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melquiades Prejun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute, Melquiades Prejun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrick Granitza was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. The supporters of BALiC 35 booed when BAYER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jockel Bierhoff didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Mielke in the 37th minute of play forced BAYER's goalkeeper Patrick Granitza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petru Muscaș's late challenge caught a BAYER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petru Muscaș helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, BALiC 35's Petru Muscaș got a free kick in the 38th minute. BALiC 35's Jannick Molau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save BALiC 35 from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute, Roberto Mielke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wincent Rutecki was the one to do the kick off. Patrick Granitza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wincent Rutecki went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. 58 minutes into the match, BAYER's Yavuz Mohs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jannick Molau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Patrick Granitza made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Roberto Mielke sent off a good shot on target. Pekko Pekarík sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, BAYER's Patrick Granitza got control of the ball when Melquiades Prejun tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to BALiC 35 getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Wincent Rutecki hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute Melquiades Prejun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Granitza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrick Granitza made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Petru Muscaș sent off a good shot on target. 78 minutes into the match, BAYER's goal looked a bit too open when Wincent Rutecki came free, but Patrick Granitza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melquiades Prejun scored 0-9 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrick Granitza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, BAYER's Yavuz Mohs got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The supporters of BALiC 35 booed when BAYER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl Martin Spranger didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, BALiC 35's Melquiades Prejun tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Patrick Granitza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Melquiades Prejun in the 97th minute. When the match was over BALiC 35 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than BAYER throughout the match.
