Spectators: 8410 (Terracing: 6308, Seating: 1934, VIP seats: 168) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Monty Bohn kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd match minute, Nerreth FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Wegmann to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrad Pflug in the 4th minute of play forced Nerreth FC's goalkeeper Sid Schätzle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 4 minutes of play, Oldinger Mark's Conrad Pflug made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sid Schätzle was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Heiner Busch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute Monty Bohn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kay Hanebuth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Nerreth FC's Monty Bohn dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Nerreth FC's Heiner Busch slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kay Hanebuth. That made the score 2-1 after 24 minutes of play. In the 30th minute, Conny Frechen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 minutes, Arno Vogl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nerreth FC and the Oldinger Mark players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aron Heber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Kay Hanebuth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 minutes, Peppo Cohen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oldinger Mark and the Nerreth FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aron Heber might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kay Hanebuth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aron Heber ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Conrad Pflug to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Conrad Pflug managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oldinger Mark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrad Pflug was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Eibo Sinning came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Nerreth FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eibo Sinning couldn't finish the play. Enno Schinner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kay Hanebuth having to interfere. Arno Vogl was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Nerreth FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Arno Vogl hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Aron Heber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gilbert von Kalben kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, Peppo Cohen threw the ball into play from the sideline. Nerreth FC's Lars Wegmann quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Heiner Busch scored 3-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kay Hanebuth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 75 minutes into the game, Nerreth FC's Monty Bohn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kay Hanebuth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Nerreth FC made a substitution. Ioannis Kahrs replaced Heiner Busch. Monty Bohn struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Kay Hanebuth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nerreth FC. Kay Hanebuth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enno Schinner in the 85th minute of play. After some careless play in the Oldinger Mark defense, Monty Bohn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kay Hanebuth. The Oldinger Mark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kay Hanebuth should have stopped the shot. Conrad Pflug kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the game, Nerreth FC's Monty Bohn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kay Hanebuth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1.
