Spectators: 8421 (Terracing: 6316, Seating: 1937, VIP seats: 168) SV Ruhpolding's Oscar Walcher started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lauritz Gröbner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 6th match minute, SV Ruhpolding was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Ruge to maneuver through the defense. When Bert Niemeyer fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SV Ruhpolding's protests and gave Bert Niemeyer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Bert Niemeyer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bert Niemeyer hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Oscar Walcher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Åström having to interfere. Max Åström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Walcher in the 29th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Ratekau's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Walcher came free, but Max Åström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oscar Walcher took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Max Åström. Max Åström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Erling Askstedt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Frans Pässler when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Boruc Makowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, SV Ruhpolding's goalkeeper Frans Pässler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erling Askstedt. In the 47th minute, Erling Askstedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Boruc Makowski was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolomeo Kruber in the 55th minute of play forced Ratekau's goalkeeper Max Åström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th match minute, SV Ruhpolding was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ken Wunderlich to maneuver through the defense. Ratekau's Reinhart Goll couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SV Ruhpolding. When Lauritz Gröbner came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Ratekau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lauritz Gröbner couldn't finish the play. Edgar Ruge hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Frans Pässler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erling Askstedt in the 61st minute of play. Samir Sattler kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Oscar Walcher might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Max Åström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oscar Walcher ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Lauritz Gröbner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ratekau's supporters rose to their feet, but Lauritz Gröbner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frans Pässler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, SV Ruhpolding's Edgar Ruge got a free kick in the 67th minute. The supporters of Ratekau booed when SV Ruhpolding was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ken Wunderlich didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Ken Wunderlich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boruc Makowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frans Pässler came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Ratekau's Erling Askstedt. But to his dismay, Erling Askstedt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ratekau's Max Åström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Ratekau from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute, Boruc Makowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ratekau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Lauritz Gröbner scored 3-2 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frans Pässler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ratekau were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SV Ruhpolding for a fine match.
