Kong Gang Feng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Åström having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kong Gang Feng in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Max Åström saved Ratekau from getting behind. 38 minutes into the match, Ratekau's goal looked a bit too open when Kong Gang Feng came free, but Max Åström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44th play minutes Kong Gang Feng shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Max Åström and just under the crossbar into goal. The Ratekau players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. West Staines Massive were winning 0-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half.
