After a rather tough play, FC Traktor Götz's Carl Gulatz got a free kick in the 2nd minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kasimir Kehr couldn't finish the play. Fryderyk Dziewulski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Trenker having to interfere. Maximilian Obst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 12thth minute of the game Maximilian Obst who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gene Centaurs Munich's Thomas Trenker was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Maximilian Obst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Esra Breidert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulli Pronold, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 26th minute Maximilian Obst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Trenker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Traktor Götz's Wim Majewski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Zdenko Stachowsky in the 36 minute of the game. 39 minutes into the match, FC Traktor Götz's goal looked a bit too open when Ulli Pronold came free, but Esra Breidert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Traktor Götz booed when Gene Centaurs Munich was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolf Anhalter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomas Trenker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximilian Obst in the 44th minute of play. Fryderyk Dziewulski hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After 46 played minutes FC Traktor Götz got a freekick which was hit by Fryderyk Dziewulski. In the 48th minute, Fryderyk Dziewulski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After having played for 52 minutes, Lauritz Palmer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gene Centaurs Munich's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lauritz Palmer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After recieving a nice pass, Gene Centaurs Munich's Kasimir Kehr tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Lauritz Palmer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Esra Breidert made a huge save. Maximilian Obst scored 1-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thomas Trenker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thomas Trenker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximilian Obst in the 63rd minute of the match. Thomas Trenker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximilian Obst, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Esra Breidert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulli Pronold in the 68th minute of play. If Maximilian Obst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kasimir Kehr in the 73rd minute of play forced FC Traktor Götz's goalkeeper Esra Breidert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gene Centaurs Munich's Leopold Betz suffered a sore knee after 76 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Maximilian Obst charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximilian Obst the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gene Centaurs Munich's Michel Richardsen was substituted for Leopold Betz. 82 minutes into the match, FC Traktor Götz's Maximilian Obst sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomas Trenker narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thomas Trenker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew the final whistle, FC Traktor Götz could leave the field as winners, despite Gene Centaurs Munich having more of the ball for most of the match.
