Rickard Algren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Kellerbräu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bastian Jursch came free, but Rickard Algren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Marten Möller made a precise shot to the right of Bernhard Kliemann. Schmerold's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Bernhard Kliemann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudi Bremke, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Kellerbräu FC's Rudi Bremke nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernhard Kliemann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Rickard Algren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georg Ehses, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Bernhard Kliemann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudi Bremke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Schmerold's Ulrich Fandrei got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Kellerbräu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Georg Ehses came free, but Rickard Algren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lars Oliver Baur hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If Georg Ehses had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 43rd minute, Fortunato Schumacher made a precise shot to the right of Bernhard Kliemann. Schmerold's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bastian Jursch was the one to do the kick off. When Luigi Kursawe fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Schmerold's protests and gave Luigi Kursawe a yellow card for diving instead. Bernhard Kliemann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Elzer in the 57th minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Mark Elzer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Bernhard Kliemann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rickard Algren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bastian Jursch in the 69th minute. Bernhard Kliemann came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Kellerbräu FC's Fortunato Schumacher. But to his dismay, Fortunato Schumacher quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Schmerold's Bernhard Kliemann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Elzer in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute Fortunato Schumacher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernhard Kliemann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 played minutes Schmerold got a freekick which was hit by Klemens Gölz. In the 87th minute, Mark Elzer made a precise shot to the right of Bernhard Kliemann. Schmerold's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 91 minutes into the game, when Nestor Bodewig put in a rough tackle. 91 minutes into the game, one of Kellerbräu FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for Schmerold. Georg Ehses stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rickard Algren. 7-1. When Mark Elzer came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Kellerbräu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mark Elzer couldn't finish the play. Kellerbräu FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
