With an all-out effort, KFC Uerdingen 05's Karl Kugler threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Simon Bannenbusch, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Godfredo De la Torre in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tymoteusz Mios saved KFC Uerdingen 05 from getting behind. GTV Ostsee's Karl Kugler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save GTV Ostsee from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the game, Albrecht Bohnacker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GTV Ostsee's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KFC Uerdingen 05 the free kick. After 13 played minutes GTV Ostsee got a freekick which was hit by Albrecht Bohnacker. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Bannenbusch in the 14th minute of play forced GTV Ostsee's goalkeeper Karl Kugler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl Kugler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gencer Hisarcık in the 16th minute. Arseniy Bokatyuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Karl Kugler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tymoteusz Mios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Kismi in the 21st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Gencer Hisarcık kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Karl Kugler. That made the score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. Tymoteusz Mios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfredo De la Torre in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, GTV Ostsee's goalkeeper Karl Kugler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gencer Hisarcık. In the 38th play minute Ludwig Kamper came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Karl Kugler. 2-0. After 43 played minutes KFC Uerdingen 05 got a freekick which was hit by Chiquinho Alagoano. In the 45th match minute, GTV Ostsee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Vimaro to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Gencer Hisarcık made the kick off in the second half. KFC Uerdingen 05's Simon Bannenbusch got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, KFC Uerdingen 05's goalkeeper Tymoteusz Mios had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramon Kismi. In the 60th minute, Ludwig Kamper made a precise shot to the right of Karl Kugler. GTV Ostsee's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in GTV Ostsee's zone, Gencer Hisarcık stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl Kugler came out of the goal and Gencer Hisarcık tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th match minute, KFC Uerdingen 05 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arseniy Bokatyuk to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to GTV Ostsee getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Jens Håning hit a great ball. In the 68th minute of the match Arseniy Bokatyuk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karl Kugler skillfully saved the ball. Gencer Hisarcık's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl Kugler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Karl Kugler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gencer Hisarcık, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. KFC Uerdingen 05's Paolo Tano was substituted for Gencer Hisarcık. Karl Kugler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heinz Rummel in the 88th minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Paolo Tano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Karl Kugler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. KFC Uerdingen 05 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
