SV PM Cottbus's Julius Tenbruck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andi Carlsen in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by SV PM Cottbus's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Michael Laudrup was slow to take the kick. During this time AMASYA FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Michael Laudrup almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SV PM Cottbus's Julius Tenbruck did a great save. Victorino Ebardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Niva, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as AMASYA FC's Ediberto Linhares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julius Tenbruck. That made the score 1-0 after 23 minutes of play. Julius Tenbruck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Laudrup, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When SV PM Cottbus's Erik Niva in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Julius Tenbruck was left in no man's land by his defense there!

An unexpectedly hard shot by Andi Carlsen in the 58th minute of play forced SV PM Cottbus's goalkeeper Julius Tenbruck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julius Tenbruck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ediberto Linhares in the 60th minute of play. If Ediberto Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. AMASYA FC made a substitution. Darius Rackbier replaced Andi Carlsen.
