In the 2nd minute Oriano Junco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Issa Casillas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Selb's zone, Inocencio Primeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Issa Casillas came out of the goal and Inocencio Primeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fredrik Överman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Issa Casillas having to interfere. Philipp Darmstadt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Issa Casillas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th match minute, FC Selb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudius Numberger to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aske Frøshøj in the 17th minute of play forced FC Selb's goalkeeper Issa Casillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Oriano Junco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Issa Casillas. FC Selb's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oriano Junco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, FC Selb's Harald Brachvogel got a free kick in the 26th minute. A collision led to FC Selb getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Daniele Scudieri hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, 刘思辉 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Issa Casillas. The Hornbosteler SV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Fredrik Överman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Oriano Junco sped through FC Selb's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Issa Casillas. The FC Selb players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hornbosteler SV were winning 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulf Riessle was the one to do the kick off. When Fredrik Överman came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Hornbosteler SV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fredrik Överman couldn't finish the play. 53 minutes into the match, FC Selb's goal looked a bit too open when Philipp Darmstadt came free, but Issa Casillas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harald Brachvogel during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Selb getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Daniele Scudieri hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the match, FC Selb's goalkeeper Issa Casillas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oriano Junco. Ulf Riessle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredo Rösch having to interfere. Oriano Junco took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Issa Casillas. Issa Casillas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. FC Selb's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Edwin Van den Bossche scored to the left of an out of position Issa Casillas, making the score, 0-7. Harald Brachvogel kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Harald Brachvogel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 72nd minute of the match, Fredrik Överman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Issa Casillas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With an all-out effort, Hornbosteler SV's Issa Casillas threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Oriano Junco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Oriano Junco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Issa Casillas was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 79th minute, Hornbosteler SV's Fredrik Överman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Issa Casillas. Issa Casillas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. After 81 minutes, Ulf Riessle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Selb and the Hornbosteler SV players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Hornbosteler SV booed when FC Selb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulf Riessle didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Hornbosteler SV's Oriano Junco in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
