Erwin Jankowsky fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Kugler having to interfere. Werner Barz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 9th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 14th minute of the game Urbano Vimaro made a throw-in which Karl Popper played forward. Spvgg München-Lerch. 05's attentive Caspar Allendorf managed to snatch the ball when Terry Glaser made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. In the 17th minute, Ćiro Immobile left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Spvgg München-Lerch. 05 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hugo Emmel in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferdinand Pflügge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, GTV Ostsee's Karl Popper got a free kick in the 30th minute. Karl Popper hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Werner Barz took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Karl Kugler to make any attempt to save it. The Spvgg München-Lerch. 05 fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Spvgg München-Lerch. 05's Ćiro Immobile looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Werner Barz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Godfredo De la Torre struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Ferdinand Pflügge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GTV Ostsee.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugo Emmel was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Godfredo De la Torre reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ferdinand Pflügge. The goal made the score 3-1. Caspar Allendorf got a throw-in 55 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ćiro Immobile. GTV Ostsee's Karl Kugler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Werner Barz in the 56th minute of play. Jens Håning charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jens Håning the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hugo Emmel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Godfredo De la Torre came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the GTV Ostsee fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godfredo De la Torre couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes into the match, GTV Ostsee's goal looked a bit too open when Werner Barz came free, but Karl Kugler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GTV Ostsee's Karl Kugler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Werner Barz in the 80th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Werner Barz in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl Kugler saved GTV Ostsee from getting behind. If Hugo Emmel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Emmel got free with Ferdinand Pflügge in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Spvgg München-Lerch. 05's Bert Ringelnatz got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 88th match minute, Spvgg München-Lerch. 05 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bert Ringelnatz to maneuver through the defense. Ramon Kismi hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. A collision led to Spvgg München-Lerch. 05 getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Bert Ringelnatz hit a great ball. Hugo Emmel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ferdinand Pflügge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th match minute, Spvgg München-Lerch. 05 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Burkhard Seelert to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 95 minutes, Hugo Emmel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GTV Ostsee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Emmel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the GTV Ostsee players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Spvgg München-Lerch. 05.
