With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bonito Teufer in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mosche Dubberke saved Brauer FC from getting behind. Mosche Dubberke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonito Teufer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paul Jöckel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mosche Dubberke having to interfere. In the 39th minute Immanuel Baumann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mosche Dubberke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Jena-Nord 02's zone, Jesús Banana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric McThomas came out of the goal and Jesús Banana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ursus Losert charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ursus Losert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes Brauer FC got a freekick which was hit by Ursus Losert. Brauer FC made a substitution. Sascha Knop replaced Stefan Königshaus. Ursus Losert hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

Feddo Wons hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Brauer FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Jöckel came free, but Mosche Dubberke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matti Tiedke during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 67 minutes into the match, FC Jena-Nord 02's goal looked a bit too open when Berend Kuhn came free, but Eric McThomas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hugo Ixaka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eric McThomas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugo Ixaka's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 77th match minute, Brauer FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias-Alexander Leers to maneuver through the defense. Eric McThomas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias-Alexander Leers, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Hugo Ixaka took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eric McThomas. Eric McThomas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Hugo Ixaka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paul Jöckel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mosche Dubberke read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Mosche Dubberke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonito Teufer in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonito Teufer in the 95th minute of play forced Brauer FC's goalkeeper Mosche Dubberke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Jena-Nord 02's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
