Brauer FC's Mosche Dubberke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karsten Jeschik in the 5th minute of play. Mosche Dubberke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karsten Jeschik in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Ödman in the 36th minute of play forced Brauer FC's goalkeeper Mosche Dubberke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Darius Minge got free with Ratko Schrag in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ratko Schrag made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Mathias-Alexander Leers sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Brauer FC made a substitution. Sascha Knop replaced Stefan Königshaus. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugo Ixaka made a kick off. The supporters of Fenerbahce SK booed when Brauer FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darius Minge didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute Gilbert Indenklef shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mosche Dubberke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ratko Schrag made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darius Minge in the 55th minute of play. Mathias-Alexander Leers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ratko Schrag tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulf-Hendrik Bech hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After 71 played minutes Brauer FC got a freekick which was hit by Jesús Banana. 82 minutes into the game, Hugo Ixaka cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ratko Schrag was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Fenerbahce SK defense, Mathias-Alexander Leers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ratko Schrag. The Fenerbahce SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ratko Schrag should have stopped the shot. Ratko Schrag showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias-Alexander Leers, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Ratko Schrag showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias-Alexander Leers in the 90th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Brauer FC had won after a very even match.
