FC Hinterfindmichnicht's Guido Schamberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juliane Resenberg in the 2nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Verdini in the 6th minute of play forced FC Hinterfindmichnicht's goalkeeper Guido Schamberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guido Schamberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juliane Resenberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Halit Yöner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guido Schamberg. FC Hinterfindmichnicht's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Halit Yöner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Niclas Amsel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guido Schamberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juliane Resenberg went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Patrick Knopf kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Benjamin Debus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nick Maul, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wojtek Breda during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wojtek Breda hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Donato Verdini succeeded in the game's 37th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Tino Olck hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Benjamin Debus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pieter Schubert in the 46th minute of the match. Benjamin Debus was a little too slow when Nick Maul got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 1-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donato Verdini to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Carlos Dorio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guido Schamberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ragnar Hecker during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Donato Verdinis short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Guido Schamberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 58th minute, FC Hinterfindmichnicht's Werner Traband seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Werner Traband the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Hinterfindmichnicht protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Werner Traband had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to FC Hinterfindmichnicht getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Werner Traband hit a great ball. Guido Schamberg came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by SV Berkenbrück's Donato Verdini. But to his dismay, Donato Verdini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Zé Augusto de Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Schamberg having to interfere. When FC Hinterfindmichnicht's Patrick Knopf in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SV Berkenbrück's goalie prevented a goal. Pieter Schubert hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. SV Berkenbrück's Tino Olck couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 75th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Hinterfindmichnicht. If Zé Augusto de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin Debus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Knopf in the 85th minute of the match. After 91 played minutes FC Hinterfindmichnicht got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Knopf. The SV Berkenbrück fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when SV Berkenbrück's Donato Verdini looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. SV Berkenbrück played a much better game than FC Hinterfindmichnicht and deserved their victory. The FC Hinterfindmichnicht players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
