Diego von Moos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eckard Pohl in the 6th minute of play. DORTMUND's Ronnie Hinrichsen got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Eckard Pohl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diego von Moos. Ofensywni Massen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eckard Pohl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Martin Wal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Gottmann having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Jakob Fernström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DORTMUND's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ofensywni Massen the free kick. In the 24th match minute, DORTMUND was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakob Fernström to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, DORTMUND's Murat Grotthaus got a free kick in the 27th minute. Ofensywni Massen's Gaston Ixona got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ofensywni Massen's Diego von Moos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yadulla Färäcov in the 40th minute of play. A collision led to DORTMUND getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Eckard Pohl hit a great ball. After the first half Ofensywni Massen were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Keramettin Kantara was the one to do the kick off. DORTMUND's Kevin Gottmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keramettin Kantara in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, DORTMUND's goalkeeper Kevin Gottmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaston Ixona. After a rather tough play, Ofensywni Massen's Heimo Ablass got a free kick in the 59th minute. Eckard Pohl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Diego von Moos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Keramettin Kantara in the 62nd minute of play forced DORTMUND's goalkeeper Kevin Gottmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andreas Hansson kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Philipp Junitz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and DORTMUND's Kevin Gottmann didn't even have to move. Kevin Gottmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keramettin Kantara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, Ofensywni Massen's goal looked a bit too open when Murat Grotthaus came free, but Diego von Moos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keramettin Kantara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Kevin Gottmann made a huge save. After some careless play in the DORTMUND defense, Keramettin Kantara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kevin Gottmann. The DORTMUND fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kevin Gottmann should have stopped the shot. In the 95th minute Keramettin Kantara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Gottmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Ofensywni Massen left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than DORTMUND.
