The referee ignored BSC Jena 98's protests and gave Thomas Passmann a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th match minute, BSC Jena 98 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Passmann to maneuver through the defense. Mittelort's Moises Abeijon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Finn Kreuels in the 9th minute of play. Winfried Mühlhäuser took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jens Ebbenga. Jens Ebbenga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. He walked away shaking his head. Anton Ackermann took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Moises Abeijon. Moises Abeijon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Mittelort's Moises Abeijon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kim Pretzer in the 32nd minute of play. BSC Jena 98's Jens Ebbenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Winfried Mühlhäuser in the 39th minute of play. Moises Abeijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Ackermann in the 41st minute of the match. In the 47th minute of the match BSC Jena 98 got a corner. Mittelort's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabian Beushausen ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led BSC Jena 98's Fabian Beushausen to fire away a dangerous shot which Moises Abeijon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anton Ackermann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, BSC Jena 98's Anton Ackermann made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Moises Abeijon was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Pretzer in the 59th minute of play forced Mittelort's goalkeeper Moises Abeijon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Anton Ackermann notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Mittelort's Moises Abeijon. Moises Abeijon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Mittelort's Dirk-Justus Hasenjäger got a free kick in the 71st minute. After having played for 72 minutes, Fabian Beushausen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BSC Jena 98's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Beushausen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Moises Abeijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Finn Kreuels in the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Ackermann in the 77th minute of play forced Mittelort's goalkeeper Moises Abeijon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Finn Kreuels ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moises Abeijon was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. When Anton Pathe fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BSC Jena 98's protests and gave Anton Pathe a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, BSC Jena 98's Anton Pathe got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Cem Özdemir's late challenge caught a BSC Jena 98's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cem Özdemir helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd match minute, Mittelort was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cem Özdemir to maneuver through the defense. After 95 minutes of play, BSC Jena 98's Finn Kreuels made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Moises Abeijon was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the BSC Jena 98 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
