After a rather tough play, GKS Witosa's Pankracy Kocieniewski got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Cem Özdemir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Aurken having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heinrich Dietz in the 11th minute of play forced Mittelort's goalkeeper Moises Abeijon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerald Hüsken succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 14th playminute. When Mittelort's Jeremy Dorn in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GKS Witosa's goalie prevented a goal. In the 31st match minute, GKS Witosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heinrich Dietz to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Jorge Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Heinrich Dietz took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Moises Abeijon to make any attempt to save it. Moises Abeijon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerald Hüsken in the 44th minute. A collision led to GKS Witosa getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Kai Antons hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeremy Dorn made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raşit Sadullah in the 50th minute of play forced Mittelort's goalkeeper Moises Abeijon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moises Abeijon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pankracy Kocieniewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 63 minutes into the match, GKS Witosa's goalkeeper Luciano Aurken had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeremy Dorn. Torben Rohe's late challenge caught a GKS Witosa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torben Rohe helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of GKS Witosa booed when Mittelort was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torben Rohe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luciano Aurken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Winfried Mühlhäuser, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute Gerald Hüsken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moises Abeijon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luciano Aurken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Winfried Mühlhäuser in the 72nd minute of play. Moises Abeijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerald Hüsken in the 73rd minute of the match. Moises Abeijon came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by GKS Witosa's Heinrich Dietz. But to his dismay, Heinrich Dietz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Moises Abeijon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerald Hüsken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Mittelort's goal looked a bit too open when Gerald Hüsken came free, but Moises Abeijon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heinrich Dietz in the 85th minute of play forced Mittelort's goalkeeper Moises Abeijon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Heinrich Dietz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moises Abeijon was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heinrich Dietz in the 87th minute of play forced Mittelort's goalkeeper Moises Abeijon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jeremy Dorn came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Mittelort fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremy Dorn couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute Heinrich Dietz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moises Abeijon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luciano Aurken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Winfried Mühlhäuser in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that GKS Witosa were the better team. GKS Witosa's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
