Markus Vollmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pitt Gross, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Hülkenbüll FC booed when Welkershausen FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederik Dröge didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 39 minutes, Pitt Gross made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Hülkenbüll FC's Markus Vollmann tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Esau Preuße had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olaf Wegl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Leander Schachow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pitt Gross stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th match minute, Welkershausen FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldur Degen to maneuver through the defense. If Pitt Gross had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, one of Welkershausen FSV:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Welkershausen FSV. Welkershausen FSV:s Leander Schachow showed great skill when he stopped Damian Ditsche:s penalty. After a rather tough play, Welkershausen FSV's Baldur Degen got a free kick in the 67th minute. Leander Schachow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willibald Gabler in the 69th minute of play. A collision led to Hülkenbüll FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Joseph Andresen hit a great ball. Markus Vollmann was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Esau Preuße showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 88 minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Hülkenbüll FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Esau Preuße fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Welkershausen FSV had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
