Markus Vollmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Heiko Kuhlins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Markus Vollmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 18thth minute of the game Tobias Schlott who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hülkenbüll FC's Markus Vollmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute, Heiko Kuhlins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Markus Vollmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tobias Schlott went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Tobias Schlott scored 0-4 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Markus Vollmann, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27th minute, Tobias Schlott made a precise shot to the right of Markus Vollmann. Hülkenbüll FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Hülkenbüll FC's goalie and right to Tağı Cabbarov. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Hülkenbüll FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 33 minutes into the match, Heiko Kuhlins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Markus Vollmann. Hülkenbüll FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Heiko Kuhlins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. 38 minutes into the game, FC Hollywood's Heiko Kuhlins nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Markus Vollmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Gennaro Gattuso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Markus Vollmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Gregor Schachtschober received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Markus Vollmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Simon Ebbing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Hollywood's Rayk Jakobs got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 48 minutes, Rayk Jakobs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Hollywood's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rayk Jakobs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tobias Schlott made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, FC Hollywood's Heiko Kuhlins made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Markus Vollmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! Markus Vollmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tobias Schlott in the 59th minute. The audience was convinced that Heiko Kuhlins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Markus Vollmann was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tsuneo Helmer in the 64th minute of play forced Hülkenbüll FC's goalkeeper Markus Vollmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Schlott's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Markus Vollmann firmly grabbed it by the left post. 66 minutes into the match, FC Hollywood's Heiko Kuhlins sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Markus Vollmann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Rayk Jakobs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Estebe Alvaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willibald Gabler in the 73rd minute of play. Markus Vollmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Schlott in the 75th minute of play. Rayk Jakobs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Markus Vollmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gregor Schachtschober in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute, Ronny Wachtmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, FC Hollywood's Markus Vollmann threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Heiko Kuhlins, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When FC Hollywood's Heiko Kuhlins in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hülkenbüll FC's goalie prevented a goal. Markus Vollmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Heiko Kuhlins's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. 92 minutes into the game, Gennaro Gattuso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Markus Vollmann. Gennaro Gattuso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-11. FC Hollywood's Tobias Schlott got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Hülkenbüll FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Hollywood were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
